Use the resources referenced in these pages to help you start and develop your Business research. An initial thought to keep in mind is that research done properly takes more time than you probably expect or for which you have planned. Start the research process as early as you can so that you will have enough time to develop your ideas, respond to setbacks, and find enough sources for a strong result. The day you receive (and hopefully read!) your syllabus is a good time to start.
Conducting introductory and general investigations should always be one of your first steps when starting a research project. It's not a good approach to formulate specific, detailed, and rigid ideas early in the process. Reference works provide introductions to topics, so that you can start building a foundation of information and knowledge.
If you don't know where to begin, go to the Reference page to access introductory materials in Business. Even if you are already familiar with the subject, accessing reference sources such as Credo Academic Core, encyclopedias, and other subject specific works can provide insights and starting points of which you may be unaware.
The media pages including Journals, Books, Audio / Visual, and Websites provide links to and descriptions of resources specific to Business.
If you require additional assistance while researching Business, the Help section will point you to resources on information literacy, citations, etc. as well as a question form where you can ask a librarian for research help with your paper or project.
To engage your fellow library users on topics related to Business, go to the Discussion section. Be the first to post (first!).
